The Famous Gatlinburlier Pipe

Gatlinburlier pipes are made of 100 year old briar.: The root of the White Heath is harvested as briar block after years of growth. This older wood is dry and porous and makes for a cool dry smoke by allowing the heat to escape out the walls of the pipe.
Gatlinburlier pipes are lightweight!: Aged briar is dry. When a pipe is heavy, it indicates moisture still in the walls of the pipe. This moisture will act to contain heat. When the heat cannot escape through the wood it comes up the stem to burn your tongue.
All of our pipes are naturally finished, and guaranteed against burn out !: Heavy finishes like shellac act to insulate the heat in the pipe. We'll have none of that! Also none of our house pipe collection use filters, condensers, moisture traps or any other contraption to fowl up your smoke !
There is no harsh "break in".: Breaking in a pipe means burning out the moisture in the wood so that the pipe finally smokes good. Well, when you start with good wood, there is no moisture to expel, and no "break in"!
